Cucumber juice recipe ideas

  1. Juice: 4 celery ribs and 1/2 cucumber
  2. Juice: 4 celery ribs, 1 cucumber and 2 kale leaves
  3. Juice: 3 carrots, 1 cucumber, handful of spinach
  4. Juice: 4 carrots, 1 cucumber, 1 celery rib, 1 apple, 1/2 lemon (peeled)

Benefits of cucumber

  • Cucumber contain 96% water making them ideal for juicing.
  • They also contain vitamin C, A, K, and the minerals silica, calcium and potassium.
  • High in lignans (lignans reduce the risk of oestrogen-related cancers such as breast, ovary, uterus and prostate).
  • Anti-cancer
  • Tones the Integumentary system (skin, hair and nails) because of the high amounts of Silica, which strengthens the connective tissue
  • Detoxify and cleaning; great for inflammatory conditions and weight loss.
  • Hydration because of its water and electrolyte content.

Tip: Use the whole cucumber to get all the fibre benefits. Wash thoroughly especially if not organic
