Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Quinoa


1/4 cup of dry quinoa
1/2 cup of coconut milk or almond milk (or half of each or may add water instead)
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
2 tablespoon of raisins
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 medium apple, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of raw honey or stevia


Quinoa Apple cinammon breakfast

1. In a small saucepan bring quinoa and milk to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes.
3. Add in cinnamon, stevia or honey, raisins, apple, and chia seeds. Continue cooking on low until all liquid is absorbed. Total cook time is anywhere between 8-12 minutes.
